Re: Pokemon General

you can't use moves like Toxic or Thunder Wave or Stealth Rock when it's out, plus it's access to Recover, and bam, it's not that shabby. Not to mention, its also immune to Taunt. This thing is looking to be pretty much the ultimate Deoxys-D and Blissey counter... and also yet another thing to disc...

Re: Guild and Class selection

I'm personally fond of Zodiac/Wildling. Gets you the drums skills, you can spam Dark Ether and also gives you the bind inflicting beasts for a few specific fights (Shin and Elder Dragon mainly). In larger fights you can toss out Meteor for some decent damage. Arbalist sub gives you Double Action whi...

Re: Monks armed with books

Books or daggers are best by the end of the game, as they'll be focused entirely on healing by then. Does anyone know if Monk fist skills work well on a Gladiator? No reason they can't. They're physical skills, so they work with the Gladiator's class ability, Charge and Berserker's Vow. Fist Master...

Re: Welcome to the Danger Zone

People wished this Wolkenritter guy merry birthday and I had no idea >_>

Well happy birthday me, its 20 days too late but you've grown into a fine 25 year old Gunner.

Also I'm probably early for this because of whacky timezones, but happy birthday WillowWolf. If you see this that is =/

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?

I find the easiest way to sleep is to wear your body down. Exercising before going to sleep works wonders for me. I used to read before going to sleep, but it generally does the same thing to me. I just keep thinking and all this thinking is more than enough to keep me awake.

Re: Games you are playing

Still playing Dark Arisen. I should probably give my pawn possession resistance. She keeps getting possessed by the Cursed Dragon's roar... and is more dangerous than Daimon himself (dat rusted bow). Anyway got the Blackwing Bow and Coat of Oblivion. Of course, my luck with other stuff has been not ...

Re: Character/Party Build Ideas?

I've read somewhere Follow Trace doesn't work on spells? I haven't tested this myself, though. No Follow Trace doesn't work with spells, I forgot about that. Which means Nightseeker is a terrible choice. Bushi and Imperial are the only true options. Also to reinforce whats being said. An Arcanist/M...

Re: Character/Party Build Ideas?

For Runemaster, Bushi or Imperial are generally the subclasses of choice. Bushi is generally for raw damage, though it adds an additional turn of setup (Blood Surge). Imperial is for TP maintenance and doesn't have that extra turn of setup the Bushi sub does (Though obviously deals less damage). A N...

Re: Games you are playing

Already have you, even used your pawn twice during the main game. Your pawn was fine, except for the part where I was fighting the Metal Golem and he was running around in circles around me. Kinda annoyed me a little. I'm not sure if pawn knowledge gained goes back to the owner, but if so, well he k...

Re: Games you are playing

I've added you, my PSN is Wolkenritter3156 for the record. Also, 3 Ascalons and 1 Volant White. I really should've known better =/

The game really wants you to use the Ascalon. I did need the Volant White though (Going Magick Archer this run) so I'm not too upset.

Re: Games you are playing

Been playing Dragon's Dogma as well. Currently working on getting a pair of Heaven's Keys for myself and my pawn (I don't recall if a forgery of them works) before delving into Bitterblack. Might clear out the first area of it once I reach level 70 but I should (Hopefully) get a set of Keys before t...

Re: Games you are playing

The Monk armors looks pretty ugly yeah. They only get uglier from here though (Boarskin Subligar). One you reach endgame though you'll be able to make armors look like nearly whatever you want at least. Until then though... try not to gouge your eyes out. Anyway 7th Dragon. Hardest part of the game ...

Re: Games you are playing

Why, after two run throughs with levels and better equipment with each run through, am I still scared of the last third of Dragon's Dogma's expansion? I've always hated the enhanced versions of Drakes/Wyrms/Wyverns in the expansion (With the ones right before Daimon being the worst). What class I p...

Re: Games you are playing

@Wolkenritter: Out of curiosity, how do you patch a DS game? Do you need to buy a flash cart? Also, would it work on a 3DS? I don't even know where my DS is anymore. You can't patch the actual cart unfortunately. You'll need to grab the ROM file of the game and patch that. The patch itself uses the...
