Re: New player with a few questions

Thanks for the replies guys. I now have another couple of questions and if they are redundant or answered elsewhere I apologize, but I can't seem to find them here (but my search-fu may be lacking) 1) I have seen in another post about properly set up link damage parties or some such... Is that real...

Re: New player with a few questions

1) The general idea is to cook up some EXP boosting foods (Like Golden Geese), and then feed the sheep in the 2nd land Gold Stinkhorns, which will make them become Rare Breeds. To improve the amount of XP you get, bring along 4 members from other guilds and use the Holy Gift burst skill. The reason ...

Re: Lush woodland

The reason I say this is because many bosses have some sort of invulnerability turn(s) Other than Warped Savior, I can't think of any boss that has any of these so called turns of invulnerability. Following your logic, Imperials are far from overpowered either, since they're reliant on building as ...

Re: Lush woodland

while Landsharks are average/mediocre at everything What are you talking about? Links are one of the best sources of damage in the game (Maybe even the best actually) and can only be properly utilized by a Landsknect main. Also there's a somewhat effective Lands/Medic build which has the most effec...

Re: Lush woodland

No runemaster? How's that working out because it sounds hard. Its not really too bad, the only hurdle is the 1st maze since Runemasters are the only real good source of decent damage through all of it since the other damage dealers really need their Veteran rank skills. Runemasters certainly are he...

Re: Character/Party Build Ideas?

The links themselves do damage based on a % of the initial hit's damage. So while Hawkeye will work on the first hit, it won't work for any of the followed up attacks. Additionally, is it worth it for a Landsknecht/Runemaster to use Runic Gleam before attacking? The effect would be some extra damage...

Re: EO Untold Rantage!

So I just realized Protectors get a skill called Prayer which restores HP and TP after battle.

Yeah sorry Ronin, you're out!

Re: PnP RPG Thread

I've always wanted to put the PCs in a maze dungeon, and really strong gelatinus cubes are roaming around it, so they'd have to think and evade or die. Went through a scenario like that once actually... ... Incidentally, after the dungeon I asked the GM if I could have my character research a spell...

Re: EO Untold Rantage!

The Giraffa Beetles are easy when you've got a DH with Gag, a Hexer with Cranial Curse, and Cranial Curse on an Alchemist's Grimoire. B) Even if I do have Cranial (Which I don't), my Hexer acts after they do. Getting hit once with Strike Up is enough to knock everyone to critical levels... or OHKO ...

Re: EO Untold Rantage!

Probably due to my party layout (No Protector) but Giraffa Beetles have become my 2nd least favorite 1st strata enemy (Evil Eyes in EO2 will always be the worst)... especially when they come in twos. I swear, its always the one I don't bind with Gag that ends up using Strike Up on the first turn... ...

Re: EO Rantage

I honestly thought Touhou was only bullet hell levels, with the dodging and the shooting. If they're not only that can someone tell me what makes a game a Touhou game? Touhou's popularity stems from it's characters, so its understandable there's a lot of fan-based games that use them and delve into...

Re: EO Untold Rantage!

^ Its not a reliable strategy since binds and ailments are not guaranteed to land, whereas the Protector's Front Guard, Defender and such can be used whenever its necessary without the possibility of failure.

Re: EO Untold Rantage!

-reducing damage dealt to the party and NOBODY sees the importance of this? I'm shocked. I mean, the DH is doing its own job while beating the tank class at damage prevention. 15% damage reduction for 10 points into Shield Mastery is downright pitiful. Most of the threat enemies pose are from their...

Re: EO Untold Rantage!

My copy has finally arrived! Up to B3F at the moment, and other than the zebra sloths, its been pretty easy so far. Killed my first Ragelope too. I bound his head and feet and pretty much went to town.
