From what I know, Story mode has you fight a weaker version of him as the final boss after defeating Etreant ....

Five Monks would be the easier of the two. Three Wildlings will struggle in the 1st strata since their skill options are a bit more limited. Also you would need to prioritize on getting Call Elephant as well since you'll need it to stand any chance against Narmer.
