Re: EOIII Rantage!
Oh, and are the Arms skills really worth it for more than a few conditional drops? Me, Liferake and isometric discussed about this recently. http://www.intothelabyrinth.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1842&start=15 Read what we've posted and decide for yourself. Personally I think its a pre...

Re: Complaints about classes
Runemasters are massively overpowered. Warning! Spoilers! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_s5d0es5IAE Most reliable way of killing no chemical Warped Savior hands down. Of course, you lose a lot of points for lack of style with it. You say it as if raining thunder and destruction has no style. I wou...

Re: EOIII Rantage!
I'm kinda glad that the dragons here are actually kinda scary than in iv but Seesh Wyrm literally beats me up and I get confused, and Drake is a asshole and either AoEs everyone or decides to use his buff and make my damage tiny since my monk's turn is after the first shogun (making the first barra...

Re: EOIII Questions thread
Hmm, does five-ring sword's bonus work only if you wield two katanas, or does it work as long as you're holding just one katana along with another weapon? The latter, the dual wielding bonus occurs as long as you're using two weapons. You do however need at least one katana equipped to use it in or...

Re: Games you are playing
But the only big benefit to being human is summoning. You're more resistant to curse as well, the resistance is greater the more Humanity you have saved up. As for invaders... I take advantage of the fact I have atrocious ping and use Homing Crystal Soul Mass or Pursuers to take out invaders. Unles...

Re: PnP RPG Thread
If a person under Dominate Person is commanded to do an act that's is against their nature, they can resist it and gain a saving throw with a +2 bonus. Example: If you dominate a cat lover and command him to kick cats, he is allowed a saving throw to resist the command. Even should the command be ca...

Re: FOE help Trigourd(?)
... I keep forgetting they're vulnerable to ice. Anyway, as for the Trigourd drops, their first drop is a Curse Bone which is used to make a Mirage Rod. Not really a weapon worth getting. Its second drop is a Bendy Tool which makes two pieces of armor, the Headdress and the Fancy Coat. It also is us...

Re: FOE help Trigourd(?)
They are weak to volt not ice. The only way to damage them is use volt typed attacks, untyped attacks (Like Warmagus' cut skills, Revenge and Megido) or use the Hexer's Dampen skill to remove their resistances.
Like isometric mentioned though, you're really better off avoiding them.

Re: Complaints about classes
AoE bind healing though is immensely helpful in the case of one post-game boss though... but since the Medic has high chance of being binded herself by that very attack (Even with Stretch), its not something to rely on. Stretch + Siren Tunic + Head Charm = 100% immunity to the bind that a Medic car...

Re: I hate choosing sides...(PLOT SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!)
I'm guessing you haven't gone for the true ending yet then. The true ending pretty much reveals the motives behind the Mother and Father of the Deep Ones (The Eldest One). Its pretty much set in stone that their race is against humanity no matter what. They see humans as food, and wish for n...

Re: Complaints about classes
Geez, why's everyone hats the Medic? Sub it with Runemaster and it's amazing! You can use a Runemaster main instead and sub Medic however. Your elemental attacks will be stronger, and the only thing you really lose out on is the ability to use Refresh and Freedom on the entire party. Since, even at...

Re: PnP RPG Thread
I hate feat taxes and the like. +1 to your attack roll isn't very interesting (or fun), but god help you if you don't get it. And the reason you need to get it is the stupidest reason of all: because the people making the monsters know you can get it. It's a stupid arms race and nobody wins. I made...
