Re: Games you are playing

I've started playing the first Disgaea game recently. I didn't think I would like the idea of naming the majority of my forces, but it's growing on me and I'm really enjoying the game. Also, Item Worlds feel long as balls. A lot of things have already been said about the Smash discussion, so I won't...

Re: Games you are playing

SMT X Fire Emblem? Christ, it's Layton X Wright all over again. Also, I like the new WW look, but I think they turned the bloom up just a bit too much.

Re: Games you are playing

I just tried Awakening's demo today. Do mounted units not get their leftover movement spaces after doing an action anymore? It wasn't that big of a deal in the demo, but it might be bigger in the actual game. Also, what decides whether or not an ally will attack when adjacent to another ally instead...

Re: Games you are playing

Hey man, Nephenee is a got-dang beast. Raising a myrmidon is a bit like making love. It's not always what you expect it to be, and it might get sour, but once you get enough practice...hang on, I forgot my analogy. Anyway, I usually pair up Mia and Nephenee to take things out. They get work done, bu...

Re: Games you are playing

Though let's be honest: his speed and skill scores are crisp, so for better or worse he is more than just a stonewall. Although you can still just remove his weapons and watch as all the enemies rush towards him and either miss or dish out threes. That's always great for protecting weaker units, mu...

^I remember my friend started playing FE9 after playing a ton of them and said: "I still can't wrap my brain around the fact that my lord isn't crap before promotion."

Re: Pets! And stories

My sister has a pet cat named Tinkerbelle. She's scared of people because her last owners were jerkfaces, but she's really lovable when she gets used to you. My sister has been out of the house a lot lately, sometimes being gone for weeks at a time and Tinkerbelle has started to be more trusting of ...

Re: Games you are playing

The Chao Garden pretty much stole the show for SA2. I enjoyed the game enough, but going back to it now it probably won't be as enjoyable. Also, that Rouge level where you only have like three minutes to find the emeralds were torture for me as a kid. I've been playing Blocks that Matter, Castle Cra...

Re: What did YOU get/give for Christmas?

I gave my friends some cool knick knacks. Like a candle holder that's a star with red glass held up by a small black rod, a figure of a dragon popping out of an egg, and another candle holder that looks just like an Asian style lantern. I got a small electric razor that I've been wanting for a while...

Re: Games you are playing

I've been playing a lot of tf2 lately. I also gave Jet Set Radio a go, and while I did enjoy it, I don't think I'll enjoy it a whole lot with a keyboard. This is the game that's going to make me buy a controller for my pc. Anyone got any recommendations for a good cheap one?

Re: Random Image Thread!

At the very least, you will likely want to use his talents at some point or another. Oh, totally, having him is pretty much a must. I just personally don't use him for combat. I'll give him a try next time I play, though. It is almost as if they gave him a skill that oftens hurts more than helps to...

Re: Random Image Thread!

I always felt that in PoR there were always other units I could train and have immediate results with like Nephenee or Mia. I always got Volke, but never trained him because I felt like I had to baby him too much. I agree with you on RD though, but again there are other units I'd rather use for the ...

Re: Random Image Thread!

I never did bother to level Volke up. I hear he's amazing later on, but I could never focus on him.
