The avatar is a good first step in reinventing yourself.
It strikes the fear of Sampson into the hearts of us all.

Re: PnP RPG Thread
If your problem is lack of a group, I've found that if you show your friends the Community episodes about D&D, you'd be surprised how many of them want to try it. That's what worked for me, although most of my friends were either drama geeks or avid video game fans, so I guess it makes sense why...

Re: PnP RPG Thread
I'm about to start up a new campaign, seeing as my group and I haven't played in months. It's meant to be a one-off reading week session that could continue if we find time. In the first session, the existing group of heroes will be looking for new members, the players. They will be sent to a short ...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads
I have so little free time right now, but I read a lot of Hellboy in my art history class every week. I justify it because it is both art and kind of history. Well, legends and lore and stuff. I know Starfe has read it and liked it, but it is right up both his and Trifkin's alley. When I have some d...

Re: EOU2 is worst game in the series
Get your optimistic opinions out of this thread! This is where we hate on things we know little about, don'tcha know! Seriously though, I'm glad they're fixing stuff up to make my favorite game in the series more accesible. I haven't tried EOU but I'd give this one a shot if I had more time and mone...

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)
I've been watching Orphan Black one episode at a time before bed to unwind. The first 5 episodes were poorly paced but then the action never let's up and it gets a lot better. I'll start season 2 tonight probably. I'd give it a 7/10 overall. Also this week, Flash and Arrow are back, and I still have...

Re: Discussion Thread: 2014 in Reflection
Hey guys. I'm still alive, but school and work are keeping me swamped. I have a lot going on and might not be as active here for a while, at least until I put out a million metaphorical fires in my life. Hope you guys are doing ok. I'd like to catch up with some of you again, if I can find time I'll...

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)
I was gone for a few days, so sorry if this is late but I wanted to make sure it was clear my issue was not with the sexuality, which I think is a great step forward. I didn't like how the team avatar dynamic was sacrificed for it. I there was a scene where Korra and Asami were holding hands and...

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)
I finally did the thing and watched the last season of Korra. It's incredible how good of a job the team did despite all the shit that was handed to them from Nicklodeon. Like that forced recap/clip episode was actually enjoyable, despite them being made to either do a clip episode or fire half thei...

Re: Games you are playing
After a couple hours of not being able to get a Starbound server running to play with my cousin last night, today I booted it back up and played by myself. I played for so many hours. The only reason I stopped (at 3:30am, no less) is because it crashed. I never do this kind of thing anymore! Going t...
