Re: Games you are playing
I'm not giving a Treename. I named him essentially Lichenwood--as in wood with Lichen on it. Fungus. Fungus-tree type names are perfect for Necromancer Sylvans. >w>

I feel like I should know this reference. OTL

Re: Games you are playing
Just got to level 25. Things are going at a normal pace now, and the Brisban Woods is my current goal of completing, probably. It's still level 15-25, so I can get plenty of EXP with no problem. The storyline seems to be picking up now too. I chose the Vigil for Hiroki(Canthans have always been my f...

Re: Games you are playing
So, Tocatl was bugged today. That meant that I was out of a 100% for Kessex Hills today. I got a bit better at fighting underwater, but it is still extremely frustrating. Switched over to Longbow, after realizing that Barrage is so much better as an AoE attack. >_> Granted, I miss the old version, w...

Re: Games you are playing
I'm a Leatherworker (makes sense as a ranger), but I really don't get it. XP
I have been chopping trees, though...
Also, am I the only one who thinks Underwater combat is incredibly wonky?

Re: Games you are playing
Now, it's level 16 and in Kessex hill, which has enemies around level 20-23. Maybe I'm just not grinding hard enough, but the achievements really slow down, after awhile. I've gotten all the waypoints, interest areas, and Vistas, so far, too. xP Mostly 20-23. If I'm guessing right, it's a story que...

Re: Games you are playing
I'll be figuring it all out later. Most likely I'm just gonna be grinding in that Swamp. I don't have to worry about the Skelks too much, now.

Re: Games you are playing
So, now I have a true gripe with the game. It's notthe bugs, but the quest leveling is AWFUL. I'm on the quest where I'm trapping the White Mantle with Anise. The previous quest was level 14--I did it at 13, because I had done all the quests in Queensdale. Now, it's level 16 and in Kessex hill, whic...

Re: Games you are playing
Yeah, which is why I am using Shortbow. I prefer the quick-reaction time it gives me and it gives me two attacks that move ME as opposed to the enemy. I keep a longbow as my alternate weapon, though. I had my first large-scale boss fight, though. That Shadow Behemoth in the Swamp. That was genuinely...

Re: Games you are playing
So, I started GW2 as a Human Ranger. I tried Engineer out, but I only kind of liked it. I don't exactly like having a pet forced upon me, while it certainly helps. It is a bit of a tough transition as you guys have said, from playing the original, but I really like it, so far. Though, I think Shortb...

Re: Games you are playing
My main weapons in Portable are, right now: Twin Sabers Double-blades Spear Tornado Strike is incredibly useful. XD The Spear is perfect for those self-destructing robots Sega loves to place in narrow corridors. It only registers the first blast that hits you, so overall, you take less damage, if yo...

Re: Games you are playing
So, Phantasy Star Portable... please tell me it gets more difficult. So far, it is more or less cheap shots that are making it difficult. Self-destructing robots and flying enemies... Yeah, that's not much of a problem, when you're able to spam most of your Photon Arts to the point of knocking every...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar
And this same guy suddenly changed plans on me and said that he's not going home this weekend and our D&D session can continue. He really better go easy on my character, for my absence, because out of everyone in the group, I'm the one with perfect attendence. Honestly, with his track record, th...
