I've started re-playing Heart Gold, it's reminding me how wonderful it was having your pokemon follow you around was, I really hope they bring that back, having that together with pokemon-amie would be great.

How is making high resolution sprites any more expensive than making 3d models? Very late response on this, but... With 3d models you make the one model and can manipulate it for all of its given animations, with sprites however, you have to draw every single frame of animation for every single act...
