When do you GET subclassing anyway? I was totally expecting it at the end of Stratum 2.

By some miracle, I've finally hit Retirement level, so it's time to swap out that useless second Nightseeker for something more fancy, like this hopefully-not-useless Sniper.

Ugh, so many ways to fuck this uuuuup.

Head/Arm bind + Spotter is good enough, then had a Nightseeker throwing Spread Throw to land statuses. Unfortunately, the sheer number of Double Slashes I had to use to keep up meant that I didn't get to fire off Holy Gift, which is a damn shame.

I can do you one better- it's possible to run an Yggdroid/Monk from 15 to 70, and even kill most bosses. Pure counterattack build, self-healing, infinite TP regen. Got this close to taking down one of the dragons, too. This sounds fun, might have to try it sometime...solo run Yggdroid [EDIT] Specif...

Once again, the game gets my hopes up with the first boss, only to brutalize them with the second. Is it too much to ask that MORE bosses use dungeon gimmicks, rather than just combat gimmicks? Well.

I killed the first stratum boss with two characters- A fortress and a medic. Because he killed everyone else first, but couldn't kill the fortress and also never aimed at the medic. It was just badass enough for me to just accept the massive experience disparity it created.

The "mystery" is looking fairly generic so far (second land, first cave), but they haven't mentioned Titans at all so there's still that. While I agree on the simplicity, I find it much harder to get a "pure" type than it was in EOIII- where I could build an entire character arou...

Blood bear: Crushed beneath my iron heel. Turns out, equipping both my Nightseekers with two armbind-forged weapons, guarding against his roar, and then just mercilessly hacking at him works pretty well.

Mostly it's the full party attack. I can deal with heavy 1-target damage with a couple things. like shields taunting def buffs HP buffs that Guard limit, and preemptive healing.

Why did they drop full-party attacks on me before they even used line attacks? And for that matter, why the damn do they do this as the first enemy where binds would actually be useful?

And for that matter why is making a balanced party so damn hard
