I can still only watch other people play Dark Souls. Combat looks fun. But game doesn't seem as hard as other Castlevanias if only because platforming is still limited in 3D versions. Punching monsters has generally never been as hard as pixel jumping. Though it evens out a bit in enclosure.

The new 4E Shade race seems disliked because of the standard action inherent power. But the 2nd level utility Twilight Torch should be pretty great for thieves and Cunning rogues. Especially for Master Thieves. The anemia just makes sense. If they let someone with a bright enough torch get too close...
