No, as soon as you can get Charm/Nerve Bullets, don't hesitate. But you need proper guns for them to dispatch groups of enemies.

Mapper is really useful. So are the guns. Especially with Nerve/Charming Bullets, which will break the game. I say go for save states, since later dungeons become more complex. And don't worry about conversations, just raise your Luck stat for it become more successful. And yeah...don't raise the He...

Still... my god this game is so unforgiving. Took me forever to get a fucking demon recruited. And even Pixie gave me a hard time. Damn bitch. I would always never have enough of what they wanted from me. >_< I wouldn't say unforgiving, but the game is really tough on the SNES. Some of the dungeons...
