Heh. Gouda's the city I grew up in. Feels weird to hear people use that name to refer to something else entirely.
Cheese is easy to avoid if you hate it enough. The only thing where it's a bother is pizza. But homemade pizzas taste better anyway.

After reading that I bought some belgian waffles this afternoon. A real waffle chef would probably cringe at them, but they taste pretty good to me. I think I've had a waffle once or twice before, because the taste is vaguely familiar, but that must've been some time ago.
