Maybe whatever your first EO game was will always be your favorite. Or at least feel special in some way.

I know some people who play PnP RPGs online through Skype or something and have a lot of fun with it, so even distance isn't an obstacle really.

The DS bonus content isn't really worth it imho. Just some reused bitmaps without a real story, completely separated from the rest of the game.

Chrono Trigger's music is very good in general. I should buy the soundtrack sometime. I own the Chrono Cross OST, but not the CT one.
