Sealed doors? You mean the ones that require a key?
You need to do the uhm, Call of the Gunner I think the quest is called. Fourth stratum in any case. The one where Wilhelm asks you to check on Artelind. Then there's a guard on 17F who will sell you something special for 10,000en. That's t...

Does anyone have a listing of all the history notes from EO1 and/or EO2? I never bothered to write them down, but now I'm curious what the complete picture looks like.

Other board lesbian chiming in again. Hentai in itself doesn't bother me (although it's not my genre). What does bother me is when a strong woman is reduced to mere giggle/masturbation fodder. Maybe in an ideal world where gender doesn't matter it wouldn't bother me, but female protagonists are stil...

The European version of EO1 has two-letter class abbreviations, so it's not impossible to use names that have the same first letter.

Oy. I hope the infantile jokes aren't as bad as the reviews make them out to be. I'm enjoying Izuna 1 at the moment. The dialogue is funny, and not irritating. That would change if it were only about giggling over boobies

Kino - Wikipedia is your friend: Roguelike : A roguelike is a member of the role-playing video game genre that borrows its name and gameplay elements from the 1980 computer game Rogue . Superficially, a roguelike is a two-dimensional dungeon crawl with a high degree of randomness and an emphasis on ...

Pfft. The Etrian Odysseys got mediocre reviews too because they were so hard and retro.

I've just started Izuna 1, but also ordered Izuna 2 . The conversations and voices are funny. The game isn't as hard as I expected (just met the third god, Kazen, for the first time). You just need to accept that you'll die several times in every dungeon, so you shouldn't get attached to your items ...

Commonwealth English I think. I've heard it from folks Down Under too. Here's another one: 'rooting for' someone means cheering them on in American English. In Australia, 'rooting' means 'fucking'. Generally though, people recognize the American English meanings as well because that's what you see o...

More sixth stratum
So there I was, innocently helping out a winged one. Oh, what a nice sword. Let's pull it out. Oops, there's a Golem guarding it. Fight? Hmm, I think we could kill this one. Darn, that critter's tough. It hits hard, and on top of that it also heals. Nothing we haven't see...

Oh, I got that when I read your post. The topic title just had me puzzled which meaning you intended for a few secs.

Activating the Foul Grail
I did well over a dozen 5th and early 6th stratum enemies, without success (glows, but dims again). Some FOEs.. still nothing. Finally went and killed some bosses (Chimaera, Hellion, Scylla, Harpuia), and presto, after Harpuia the grail finally complied.
...

You do know that in some varieties of English, getting 'pissed' means drunk, right? Anyways, I'm the sort who doesn't get mad, ever. Sure, I get frustrated, disappointed, sometimes irritated even. Once in a while I may even utter some swear words. But that's it. No anger lasts more than maybe three ...

Scy -
Yes, I have that grail. I got the messages about the grail glowing briefly, then going dark again. Which enemies/FOEs work then? Apparently a Dinolich isn't good enough..
Paranoia - Hmm, I still think the fourth stratum BG music is the best. I've just unlocked the Play BGM o...
