Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
Because very few people actually pay them off completely every month and credit card debt is used as a factor for getting a mortgage.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
I second PLA. Avoid loads. Avoid credit cards. I became an adult during the time of easy credit and now have a ridiculous amount of debt that's slowly being paid away. Car loans, sensible and OK. Loans so you can go on holiday... Stupid. Loans for furniture, nope. Just save and buy bit by bit. Also,...

Re: Health, Fitness and Discipline
First time back on the cross trainer in nearly two months and even then it was a one off, haven't been regularly since about March. 10k in an hour, not too bad but no where near as good as I once was. Happy that I've lost a few kilos since I last weighed myself though, especially as I thought I had ...

Also won a battle about a warranty, so replacement mattress free of charge

Jeeze, two very different parts of my life.... The happy child and the angry adult. The first is a much better state.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
People often forget that we should be glad that those we care about are unharmed in situations like this. The reality of the financial costs, stresses of repairs and logistics are far easier to think about.
Glad you're OK though

Baaaah, ill. Food intolerances suck.

What I really like here is that people feel fine to call the mods out for things. Not that zamisk did anything wrong, or Kimiko for that matter. It's just really nice that it's a real community rather than this entire hierarchy thing.
Random I know, but I wanted to say it

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
Avoid the internet and screens for a good 30 mins before sleeping, read first for a bit and make sure that there's some form of noise - a fan, nature music etc. That should help.
I've heard that exercise several hours before hand helps too.

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
ZOMG, I remembered that I emailed them to myself about a year ago. A little out of date, but far better than 2008 or whenever it was. No I didn't use a cloud backup, however, I do now :). Car wash? I hate car washes, they scare me. Well, the machines do. The poor Polish people up the road who do it ...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
Laptop is dead! :( Hard drive has failed, will need to get it replaced and loose my data. Which is kinda ironic as I should know better about disaster recovery, lol. New hard drive on Wednesday when the Dell engineers installs it. Could do it myself but I'd rather get a new warranty on it by them do...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
Sleeeeep! I need more of it. I've not quite figured out this thing whereby getting up 2 hours earlier means I probably should go to bed 2 hours earlier.
