Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

Oh, in all three cases?

PS: When I said the first episode, I mean that literally happens in episode 1.

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

Not really. I mean, sure it ruins the surprises (well, typically), but it doesn't ruin the presentation. Think about your favorite books/movies/games. Were they less fun to read/watch/play the second time just because you knew what the ending was? Does knowing that Darth Vader is Luke's father ruin ...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

I'm of the opinion that the best way to discover a series is randomly and not at the beginning. Will you understand everything as well as you would if you read the series sequentially? Probably not, but you don't really need to if it's a good author. I've gotten into some great series this way.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread

....Yeah, I'd probably trade away my SP forever to try out ICO. I'm just that much of a SotC fanboy.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread

No, I mean what would you need an SP for that you couldn't use a DS for? The only thing I knew ICO was on in English is PS3. (The high definition version.)

Or a zombie. I'm rather preferring your hypothesis, though.

Re: Recent Purchases Thread

WAIT ICO IS OUT IN ENGLISH ON PS2?

Damn, I'd be willing to trade you my mostly-not-scratched-up SP for that when you're done. Any reason not to use a DS, though?

Re: Happy Birthday Thread - Trifkitten

....Sudden image of Trifkin stalking through a book store making observations about the current stock in an Australian accent.

Who knew you could fit those two homophones into the same sentence?

Re: Dream land

First I dreamed about what could best be described as a fusion of real life and Spiral Knights. It was really awesome. I decided near the end to get some sort of steam gun for short range AoE. Then I dreamed of Fanime weekend being sorta-transposed over last weekend, and getting my pass from those g...

Re: PnP RPG Thread

Good news! That's still only 43 points, assuming no cross-class skills. You have 45. Also, you're human so a Commander will count as your favored class, so no multiclass penalty anyway. That is a cool house rule, though.

Horizon Walker sounds cool. And familiar. I just can't remember what it is. XD
