In all honestly I think I will always absolutely detest light. But much like I hate photography, I am able to put my dislikings aside in attempt to make people happy, and live.

I tried to be a good citizen of the Internet. I know that ad revenue is necessary to pay for bandwidth, wages, development and production... but a few years ago, after loud, obnoxious commercials would play on a stream and cause it to cease function, I took up an ad-block and have not had any regret.
