Little Mac confirmed as playable character in Nintendo Direct! He has a charged punch attack that can (from what I'm guessing) instant KO opponents, but yeah, he needs to charge it (a loader is visible in the trailer) and he is completely open when charging, so it's a "big risk big reward"...

I've transfered all of my Pokémon from White to X now, so I've decided to replay White because I have nothing better to do and breeding IVs in X is so boring right now. Plus I want to see if I can farm some legendaries for X before the Pokémon Bank trial runs out.
