Re: Itl Monster Hunting

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j055E0qR6ck Of note, they are splitting this month's free DLC into two dates... We're finally getting the G-Rank versions of Rathian and Rathalos. Then on the 17th, we are finally getting the "USJ: A Colorful Feast" quest (no longer needing to go to Univers...

Saw Jurassic World last night. I liked it, with the exception of the in your face car manufacturer product placements.

Re: Games you are playing

Finished Strange Journey, am now going to move on to "SMT: DS2 - Record Breaker". Went to the other Best Buy in my town and found that they had a ton of copies of it and got them to price match Amazon for $10 off.

Re: Games you are playing

Made it to the final sector in Strange Journey, this run has been so much easier than I remember it being my first time through. Didn't use the NG+ feature either. Starting to get the urge to do a new playthrough of SMT4 after this game is done.

Re: Games you are playing

Last night I was exploring the 4th sector in Strange Journey. What completely slipped my mind was that from the 4th sector onwards more powerful fiends start showing up through the Enemy Search function. One could guess that I encountered an ever so "fun" White Rider: I was backtracking ba...

Re: Games you are playing

Decided to do a new playthrough of SMT: Strange Journey last night. Currently in the second sector, but I distinctly remember the first boss and Morax being a lot harder than they were. I'm planning on going for the neutral ending this time, first playthrough had done the chaos ending.

Re: Upcoming games

Fire Emblem <33333 Can we discuss how the character models now have feet? Also I'm still waiting on a Sacred Stones sequel though. I, honestly, didn't notice that they had feet. Didn't even occur to me to look to see if they fixed that. Obligatory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVLXI6O9Mi0

Re: Upcoming games

Was just watching part of the Nintendo Treehouse that streamed "Fire Emblem Fates" the other night. I do like the new transitioning effect from the map to battle and back to the map. It's a nice touch compared to what Awakening was like.

Re: Upcoming games

I'll argue this one just cuz I'm one of those FF6 ppl. A "port" is different than a "remake". But then again I'm in the "meh" camp. I love sprites so I'm quite happy if I never see a Terra in like her Dissidia model If memory serves, FF6 was ported to the PS1 via the A...

Re: Upcoming games

Microsoft's big announcement: backwards compatibility The only way that feature becomes a selling point (to me) is the likes of: "Culdcept Saga", "Lost Odyssey", and "Tales of Vesperia" become available through it. Sadly, I have no faith in those games becoming availab...

Re: EOIII Rantage!

So this playthrough was the first time that I've actually used the Shogun class skills... While fighting Progenitor last night, I quickly realized how abusive the likes of Warrior Might is even when you're not actively abusing it. In other words, I wasn't abusing the Second Sword and Swashbuckling c...
