Re: Games you are playing
@Hong: I'm glad that you're getting a better feel for the controls. I have the special that came with the game so I've never played with the "tumor" version. I actually never had a problem with the controls in the game and found it a bit of a delight to fight - once I learned that I didn'...

Re: Introduce yourself here! Or say farewell!
Maxine, you're gonna be so jelly. My step-grandparents are members of a club so they can reserve rooms in five-star hotels (like this one) owned by that club. It has a huge waterpark and everything. :O They can have WATERPARKS?! I ... I didn't know that. I mean, I knew POOLS but... WATERPARKS? .......

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: QQ moar
Having Japanese locale is a pretty big boon in that regard, but you might have that already. I use Applocale. The problem was a file that I had to copy from the RTP and rename in Japanese. I never understood why people used Applocale. I've always just reset my computer in Japanese local. NEVER have...

Re: Introduce yourself here! Or say farewell!
^_^ Hotels are always fun. I dunno why. I've been in some good ones and some very bad ones... Still, they are very exciting. I wonder if the fact that I always stayed at them when we were in the middle of an exciting move had some sort of impact on my opinion of them - the excitement got transferred...

Re: Games you are playing
Went to play OoT and the idea of trudging through it annoyed me ... and somehow I ended up throwing in SS. ...Only to realize much to my annoyance that I have not been charging my Wiimote (cuz I've only used it to turn on the system and then I play with the GC controller) and I actually had to hunt ...

Re: Games you are playing
Well... it's more beautiful than Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Even Skyward Sword. I just hate the colors. Everything feels so ... washed out. Too much brown, gold, and white. And there's this odd blurring effect going on. And then while the characters look amazing, things like the covered wago...

Faces of Evil, Wand of Gamelon, and the other CD-i one. These I consider side games. I also did not include that Tingle game and Four Swords Adventures. FSA was a VERY beautiful game. To me it represented how sprites could be done SO WELL in these new-gen consoles. The cutscenes were all so breathe...

Re: Games you are playing
Ocarina of Time just holds a lot of memories being my first Zelda game. XD Majora's Mask is my favorite solely because of the charm the characters have. Link's Awakening was my first (not counting the times growing up I played because I watched my parents play). It took me some time to figure out m...

Re: Games you are playing
Replaying Ocarina of Time on Wii VC. Saw a G4 program about a week ago or so talking about greatest games of all time. o_O Saw clips of the game that I couldn't recall and it made me realize how long it's been since I have played this one. .... It HAS been a long time. To think I had this game memor...

Re: General Writing
Well, not much done today, but got a little "story" written. Still don't have a lot of A's to my Q's, but sometimes writing out scenes helps me answer these things... Wouldn't you know it, I discovered I have a protagonist named Kriss (prefers: Krissy - more feminine) and ironically... o_O...

^_^ And I for one respect you artist-types. It must be wonderful to be able to sit down and with a few quick strokes convey something that is inside your mind.

Re: General Writing
^_^ I work kinda backwards. I know the story should come FIRST but I love characters the most. Usually (not always) I tend to write a story to fit a character. Or, as in this situation, I have a single scene I keep seeing flash through my head - usually, as in this situation, this scene is what make...
