Really? I remember this one where I chose the more serious one and Joe was depressed afterwards but resetting and choosing the funnier one he was happy.

I think the best part is that most of them are actually "right answers" or at least not viewed as a negative impact on the conversation. :3 Especially Joe's conversations I've run across. I felt the conversation went badly when I did take the more serious approach.

I can't say with any precision there Scy. I'm not you in terms of formulas but something has definitely changed. In the first game even IF I had played ONLY the normal free battles, it would eventually reach a cap on the level but by then I could send in only one or two characters to wipe the field....
