Re: Recent Purchases Thread

I'm still having trouble getting over the "no micromanagement" but... I keep watching gameplay videos and I think: "Let's forget the fact it's SUPPOSE to be an RF/HM game. As an RPG... it does look quite gorgeous." ... I'm thinking about getting it... :( just as soon as I get the...

Re: Games you are playing

*doesn't like FPS* sorry to disappoint you, Ninten, and the possibility of that little dream. I have no interest whatsoever in downloading TF2 other than to look at it and understand its mechanics so that I feel knowledged. Still have not done that yet. Will probably be a long time.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: hurricane vs swamp fire vs quake vs f

*mutters* my sister is doing a 8-10 page report for her college class. She has gotten up to 6 pages before she finally turned to me, angry at it, and said, "I need you to go through, edit this, and see how I can get the final pages." I got it up to 7 pages last night just editing it. Not b...

Re: Visual Novels

I would probably care more about the remake if A) it was coming to America and B) ... the cgi didn't look so horrid. Also, what's with Tsugumi's outfit at 1:09? o_O; Fauxsquared, you should try 999. :3 Incidentally, 999 is written by the same writer of Ever17. The "puzzles" just adds to th...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: hurricane vs swamp fire vs quake vs f

My mom purchased our purebred beagle from a pet store. He has been wonderful. I love beagles so much. If they did not bark so much and need so much running room (it should be a CRIME to lock a beagle up in a tiny apartment) I would totally get me one. I swear this dog is so intelligent you can have ...

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: hurricane vs swamp fire vs quake vs f

... I dunno... I kinda felt that pugs were so ugly that they were cute :3

Don't think I could ever have one though. I'd get a shiatsu(?), or a pomeranian before a pug, though a welsh corgi will always have my heart <3

Re: General Writing

Sounds like a dutch cookie or something. This does bring up a pretty good question. I always feel "if I had to look something up - especially a word - should I then use it?" I mean, if you think about it, I didn't know what it was until I looked up it. How many other people are going to kn...

Re: ITL Book Club - Sign Up Now! (Current Book: Little Princ

I made a sub forum for the club. Giving the new subforum feature a try. I can easily move it to be a regular forum if no one likes this style (or if I decide I don't like it). Anyways, that's that. ^_^ I will let Kino move this topic if she wants or wait to see if she wants to create fresh topics fr...

Re: Recent Purchases Thread

((I do realize the above post was sarcastic, but on that note...))

I'm going to put this game on my Christmas list, so I'll be passing on the bundle set... not that I really care... maybe if they included a nunchuck that matched the color of the remote I MIGHT have considered it.

Re: Games you are playing

Erm, HIT, yeah. Not sure why I got SPD in there. I'll blame responding right when I woke up. That said, to be honest, it's not like the game doesn't outright tell you this. There's an entire NPC dedicated to telling you how all the weapons function and all the weapon stats are indicative of their d...

Re: Games you are playing

SPD is evasion for Disgaea. Swords, Spears, Axes, Fists, and Monster Weapons are all ATK based. Bows are (ATK+HIT)/2, Guns are SPD, Spells are INT. And, semantics I suppose, but these are just what the game uses to calculate damage (i.e., how it calculates the "attacker ATK" stat). And th...
