Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
I have no desire to respond to much of this post creating a back and forth offensive and defensive exchange that can and will only inevitably produce forum drama. Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
maxine, garrett has your number...? Remember when I posted after being in the hospital and everyone traded numbers with everyone else. Yeah. @Hong: except texts aren't handled as an IM situation in my experience. The typical norm is what my sisters do: they keep their phones beside them at night an...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?
So angry right now. I seriously got a text message from Garrett at 4am this morning. 4AM!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Asking me if he could come back to the forum. My mom is in the hospital (again) right now AND I get up at 7:30. He ever texts me again and I'm going to block his damn number. I can't even ...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads
Victor Hugo or an Alexandre Dumas might be better, I think. Also I think determination and the interest in the story is probably the greater deciding factor, really.

Re: Why Are You Happy Today?
Since it featured in a Greek/Roman myth I assumed it was a real place but either way, it's not where my memory knew it was from ^_^

Re: Why Are You Happy Today?
Funny story: So, let's start back to the good ol' years when Maxine was like nine or ten years old. At that time mom was reading bedtime stories to us every night. Was a wonderful event. We got through books like James and the Giant Peach, Mouse on a Motorcycle, and other such books. She then picked...
