Re: Games you are playing

Oh, no, sorry Zypose, you misunderstood me (cuz I'm sick and can't write clear sentences). I knew what you meant. I was comparing with the frog theme and agreeing with you, though, lol sounds like you do enjoy the frog theme outside the game. .... Ok, yeah, I'm going to go replay me some Chrono Trig...

Re: Games you are playing

Frog's theme only sounds good in game, agreed. Otherwise it can be annoying. But it sounds really kewl in game when he's, you know, slicing open a mountain. XD

... Now I wanna replay this game...

Re: Visual Novels

Well wow, thanks for all the recommendations! I'll definitely check some of these out. (I think I've tried Narcissu before but couldn't get into it, but would be willing to try again) I had the same problem when I started up Narcissu. I started it up, got maybe less than an hour in and decided it w...

Re: Visual Novels

If you are looking for slice of life I would highly recommend any and all Key novels for you. Kanon Clannad Little Busters (this, yes, this one especially) If you are looking for a simple tale that is an emotional rollercoaster ride: Narcissu 1+2 (it's even on Steam http://store.steampowered.com/app...

@Sigm: I hear your rant, and I wholeheartedly agree. How do you think I feel? I HATED FF7 when I played it.

Re: Visual Novels

-I wish I had a friend that had the capabilities of doing this. -not eliminating just yet -I generally don't forget when it's an hour's worth of work -It's an '05 game whose translation company tanked and I bought off of ebay four years ago. Yeah, you do the the math here It's so weird. I went into ...

Re: Visual Novels

Ok, so I totally had a weird moment. I uninstalled Ever17, made sure to delete all the save files and the folder and everything. I wanted a fresh, unlocked game. Didn't even want the cgi's and stuff. Then I reinstalled it with my game discs. Roughly a half hour's worth of work. Then I play the game ...

Re: Games you are playing

^_^ That's an element I enjoyed in all the games myself. No rush. Sometimes you aren't even sure what you're doing anyways. You suddenly get a key, for example, and can open a door and suddenly you are backtracking and going to places you've never been on the map... do you continue or do you return ...

Re: Is this your favorite EO game? If not, which one is?

Just because there was a design choice made with a hardware limitation in mind, why does it have to be discredited as a feature? Especially when it is an aspect that I loved and added to the intensity and the element of mystery to the game - and was an element that the designers fully utilized.

Re: Is this your favorite EO game? If not, which one is?

Especially when some of the FOEs were perfectly defeatable and some weren't. Is this an easy Ragelope or is it a Kuyutha? Me on second stratum: "Oh, this must be one of those scorpion enemies - my Alchemists have this." Starts the fight and it's a Moa: "THAT'S NOT A SCORPION! RUN!! RU...

Re: Is this your favorite EO game? If not, which one is?

^_^ I bought EO day one that it came out and since I run the site I think my fandom is pretty clear on this. I like the first one the most. I loved the simplicity of it including the unpolished mechanics. It felt like what it was created to be: a nostalgic throwback to gameplay of old. I remember an...

Re: Rant/Complain Thread: u mad?

Thank you. I've never been terribly close with my aunts and uncles, especially on my mom's side, but the ones on my dad's side while they were a little backwards they were always wonderful and some of my favorite childhood memories have them in it. I'm shook up but it's my dad that I'm worried about...
