Well most classes are already only for certain positions anyway. True, you could put your Ronin on the back row but there's not much point, is there? I admit, though, that there's no need to force the player to do that - I'm just making the point that there are already limitations in place that the ...

Yeah, it doesn't make as much sense as a term when used on anime characters (since it is just a drawing of a girl - there's nothing male about it) but think about it in real life: a straight man goes home from a club with a woman and in the back of the cab he puts his hands up her skirt and... sudde...

Maybe it's just because I'm so familiar with the existing character types, but those ones all sound much more interesting and cool than the ones in EO and EO2. I always like Dark Knight type classes in RPGs so I would have definitely gone for one of them. The race things sounds cool too; one of my f...

enigmaopoeia: Thieves are also my favourite RPG class! I was just too much of a coward to try and use Survivalists in EO. Maybe when I'm at a higher level and I can level up new characters much more quickly I'll make one just for fun.

Well as I said, those are the official portraits from Persona 4 so wouldn't you just recognise them because you've seen the character portraits in Persona 3? Unless you didn't play P3, of course. You're right with you're guess about traps/reverse traps. A "trap" is a man dressed as a woman...

At the moment most of the games I'm playing are on the DS. Other than EO2, I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2, The World Ends With You, Summon Night: Twin Age and the GBC remake of Dragon Quest III on a GBC emulator on my DS. I wasn't a big fan of FFTA1, though I put about 80 hours into it,...

Is it a good idea to only retire one or two members at a time, so the level 70+ members can help them level more quickly, or is the equipment you have by that time good enough to level at the higher floors even at level 1? I'd guess it's probably the first one.

Hmm, well I can't exactly remember but I think that last film I watched was The Machinist (starring Christian Bale). I really liked it but the ending, the reveal, if you like, was pretty bad and while it didn't exactly ruin the film it certainly threw away a lot of what it had built up. I like David...

I just wanted to say, in reference to a Hexer being able to one-shot a FOE; the Alchemist's Force skill did around 2000 damage to the Chimaera (and it affects every enemy on screen) by the time I was level 17 or so, at that point my Ronin's normal attacks were doing about 70 damage, if I recall corr...

I just assumed it was Shigenori Soejima, the guy that did Persona 3. They seem to have the Fuuka-style goggle-eyes more in this, though. If that's true, it's also the artist who designed the characters for the recent Persona anime, the animated sequel to Persona 3 ( Torrent of episode 01). I just go...

This looks really interesting even though I don't understand most of this. But I do think Naoto is a girl. The bandage-boobs really give it away. Well on that topic, here's one of the pictures that didn't work for you earlier, the portrait image rip from the game (there are more spoilers here than ...

Of the ones I've used I probably think the Gunner is the best. Lots of enemies seem to be weak to guns and he can kill some enemies in one hit that it takes my Landsknecht several hits to kill. That said, the one I just couldn't do without is my Medic. The one I was least impressed by was the Ronin....

Well all I'd say about the 4chan thing is that there's quite a big difference between those that usually go on /b/ and people in, say, /v/. In fact, any mention of "lulz" or any other /b/ meme would just anger /v/ just as much as someone saying that Halo is the best game ever. Of course, a...

I'm interested. I usually work from home so I can easily access the forum most times of the day. The only thing I'm hesitant about is that I've only been here for about a week so I don't want to seem too presumptuous.

Hmm, either my PC is messing up or that Naoto pic uploaded wrong. It wasn't meant to stay small when you click on it... After a bit of messing around it seems the img tags aren't working.
