Trying to read through Holmes is SO annoying because it's so annoying that the police are so fucking stupid and Holmes is just doing shit like OMG FOOTPRINTS OOOOOH. This may be the wrong genre entirely for you. Though, Holmes (and, really, every detective ever) has an IQ of 17,815 to figure the sh...

Preferably newer mystery novels, eh? Was going to suggest Van Dine or Knox's novels as they created the rubric for (decent) reason. I haven't read a recent mystery novel, though, so I don't precisely know from personal experience. "Mystery" is a broad term and you're really looking more fo...

Well.
The psychological warfare, as it were, to lead up to Vera's death is interesting, though it's rather weakly set up. I hate the notion of drugs to interfere so I, personally, am glad when we skip out poisons as the cause of death or hallucinogens to change behavior or anything of the s...

Perhaps. Re-reading a short manga: Ann Cassandra. Sad it only made it to two volumes since it was a relatively interesting plot. Basically: A boy that sees the future in a notebook; he fights against fate to find a way to break his own. A girl that sees calamities in the mirror; she has surrendered ...

Clearly, more GHz is always better. From a gaming perspective, the i3-2100 wins out except maybe against an OCd 975 (otherwise, they're pretty close). And, at $85, any of the higher end Phenom IIs aren't bad (965 to 975, really) but if it was like a 950 or something? Meh. Though, I'd need to check i...

I feel like noting that "Black Edition" is a rather vague descriptor. If you got it on sale then, alright, it's probably a better deal than the i3. But at prices you see for them right now on Newegg? Nope. Even then, I'm not sure if OCing the Phenom II (any of them) makes them dramatically...

If you piece together them all, it probably makes more sense. I may sit down and watch all seven in a row. Off-hand, I don't remember what kind of marketing Utena had so maybe Ikuhara is just "*shrugs* Like, whatever man." Penguindrum had some print press behind it and a lot of hype prior ...

They have separate lanes here too, typically, but I never see them in use. Less of a big deal when I'm driving as I'll just run them down failure to care but, fuck, get off the sidewalk. Campus was basically dominated by bikes on the sidewalk plowing into people.
I ... I don't actually run ...

Wonder if Goro will have another [hide]inexplicable son murdering father[/hide] bit... Poor guy. Wants nothing to do with the industry and, yet, here he is, making films. An i5-2500k can be found for $175 (though $220 is more typical since $175 is fucking Microcenter). An i3-2100 is $125. The Phenom II Black Edition is $120-180. The i3-2100 is better bang for your buck (and, off-hand, better performance anyway) than all of those and the i5-2500k is a ridiculous value...

I should probably state I actually haven't seen Kuragehime, I'm just familiar with the "BAIL OUT" gif and the basic premise. I've got like 2 years of anime to catch up on and it's in there somewhere.

Reminds me to be sad that Bulldozer got delayed.

Then again, Sandy Bridge blows current AMD out of the water and Ivy Bridge is shaping up to be more of the same ... don't really know what to expect from Bulldozer anymore.
