It's quite a few; off-hand, it's around 4 or 5. As for the Soft Reset, it's resetting the RNG table so that the Instant Death hits on Scylla. Edit: It's Trade City Aeaea if you're trying to figure out which city it is. There's four locations in between it and the Ruins (Sheba, Dark Forest, Damavand,...

@Maxine: I'm probably the easiest person in the world to impress as far as games are concerned. But, anyway, Threads of Fate was charming, slightly different type of game, and fun. It had annoying points, yeah, but it was just fun to play. That said, it's definitely not a game I could probably play ...

Uh...Threads of Fate was relatively well received I thought. I know GAF and a few other forums appreciate it.

@Tales:
<3 the heroine design. Hate that I'll be importing it as the only option to playing it.

Like I said, you basically just hope for the RNG to kick in and spawn them. There's no "they spawn at X time" sort of thing like the post I was originally responding to made it sound like. As to what triggers the RNG check for their spawn, I don't really know as finding that bit of code is...

Ditto on this, for anyone that wants a second opinion. I was surprised as it's usually the other way around for most multiplatform games, but in this case the 360 version is the better of the two. Depends on the game; most I find are better on the 360 (Universal install, typically lead platform any...

Trying to keep that updated with stock is a pain. Gamefly|Nier keeps going back in and out of stock >>. I just kind of gave up. That reminds me, though, Bayonetta ( http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/images/smilies/gameicons/xbox360.gif http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/images/smilies/gameicons/p...

My family doesn't really do Christmas, though I buy gifts for friends and such. Part of me feels guilty that nothing was really bought not on-sale but, whatever, I saved like $400.

I'm sorry but that's just stupid. Black Friday - Christmas period are some of the best deals you'll see all year. Having to miss a sale during that time and having to buy it later when it's non-sale price is just silly.

Unless there's a money crunch issue, obviously.

I'm not exactly sure how Oreimo is really something offensive. Beyond the suggestive wincest tones.
