If we call all bad voice acting as "different" ... Anyway, Ignition, to cut costs, got a dubbing studio in Japan to do the voice work. That studio has yet to put out anything remotely decent. It isn't their "style" or was "intentional" for the voices. They just flat out...

Off-hand, it was a food truck, not a bus or van.

I'm contemplating the import >>. Yes, I realize that's a little sad. Honestly, all the extra art goodies is just awesome and I'm quite a fan of the BlazBlue art (when it's not squirrelhookers and datassrobots).
...alright, Mu is still adorable.
...anyway, the Fan Edition has to be...

My only gripe with it is it's a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge amount of "Man, good thing we're in the right place at the right time" moments. Actual spoilers~ Like, seriously.
And every cliffhanger being answered 5 minutes after you're cliffhung. Though, the whole "...wait, Wil leaves? WI...

Yes, because the Higurashi anime pretty much fucks up the feel of Higurashi.
Notably, the lack of Ending Reel messes with some of the mystery ("Huh what why does the entire village die in Game 1?"), some of the intrigue is lost, and they mess with deaths (despite how the anime wan...

Level 5ish is honestly not a good indicator of anything. Get the passive EXP skill (Listen to Experience) and have your sideline characters just level that way. Sure, it'll cost you 10 points but you'll get far more feel for the classes when they're eventually 20+ then you would if you made a decisi...

I figured that since you linked it that you liked the theory. Other than that, just a general critique of it. I believe the inverse ordering; "Whydunnit" lets you find those with the desire to do it (initial suspect pool), the "Howdunnit" lets you weed out those that could not ha...

For what it's worth, Maxine, the first spoiler I posted has no actual spoilers at all. The one's here will though~ The "Whydunnit" is ignoring the mystery in and of itself. Rather, using the "why" to answer the "who" is completely short-sighted. It's incompetence at it'...

Whilst interesting, I was kind of hoping for some explanations as to the "howdunnit" as opposed to the "whydunnit." The "whydunnit" is something we can find a reason for practically everyone. Except Gohda. Fucking useless Gohda.
Which means he did it.
...

That's ... up to you, really. The Quest EXP isn't insignificant (a few levels worth per Stratum) so I'd rather just give to the main party than sideline characters. You definitely should get the passive EXP gain for the benched characters though.

Ignition fucking up is pretty much to be expected. I'd pretty much be wary of picking up anything Shane's team touches. Doesn't help that ARF isn't an amazing game to begin with. The localization job (which is a weird way to put it when it was dubbed in Japan) is pretty much laughable. And, yet, is ...
