Re: What do you eat?
Good news is that I didn't fuck up the hollandaise. I should just buy a real double boiler. Or, now that I type this, just use my smallest pot with my large glass bowl. Fuck I'm dumb. Or just do it the easy way and make it in a blender. It's so good though, I may end up making this way too often any...

Re: What do you eat?
Made a cajun-inspired pasta dish tonight. Carb heavy like whoa (full thing would be at the ~400 mark but that's like 8 servings) but, damn it, it was delicious. Put me mostly out of keto (derp) but oh well. Succulent savoriness must be done occasionally for that is life. And because otherwise the ch...

Re: What anime are you currently watching?
I enjoy Guilty Crown. Legitimately. Also, I watched MajiKoi and Maken-Ki without anyone forcing me to do it. I'm pretty far behind in a lot of my shows, though, so maybe there's a new "holy shit, really?" show to follow. I'm really behind on Guilty Crown so maybe it improved lololololololo...

Re: Games you are playing
through Origin I've only heard about bad things about it, how is it? Origin is probably terrible. I went the Origin route to get Reckoning activated early instead of Steam. In retrospect, it probably wasn't worth it but, eh, whatever. Edit: To clarify, it hasn't really done anything terrible to...

Re: ETRIAN 4 FORMALLY ANNOUNCED!!!!
gender name debate +10 pages oh god I agree that it's a bit underwhelming in the reveal but mostly for the fact that the 3D models are pretty awful and it doesn't appear that they did anything great for the backgrounds yet. And, of course, the loss of our great lord, colored kodama-san. But as far a...

Re: What anime are you currently watching?
oh god I am an entire nearly two seasons of shit to watch behind and I think spring is coming ffffffffffffffffff Penguindrum was good. I never really liked Utena (at least not with a zealous fervor towards it) so I'll shy away from the direct comparison. Also, I must be the only sane person here for...

Re: Games you are playing
Kind of hard for me with the GIANT POSTERS IN THE VIDEO GAME STORE, and my video driver updating with COMPATIBLE WITH ME3, LOOK AT THESE SCREENS MAN, IT'S AWESOME. Also my masochism in going to forums for video games I'm interested in. That and I've been playing Reckoning (through Origin) so it's k...

Re: What do you eat?
Aaaah, that's true! : O Forgot about that bit. Hrmm. Most of the baking I do on even a semi-regular basis (I really do try not to do it very often, 'cause, y'know, carbs and stuff) involves nut butter of some kind as the base so it's flourless anyway. Easiest pancake recipe I've ever done was almon...

Re: What do you eat?
Both my parents are bakers. One of those things I know how to do but don't necessarily enjoy much of anymore
Edit: That aside, I'm pretty sure yeast is one of those very non-primal ingredients so I'll have to save trying either of those for one of those "bleh" days.

Re: What do you eat?
I know of Elana's Pantry and that recipe looks ... complex, but that result looks amazing. Flour substitutions are always iffy since they vary so much in a huge manner, though; gonna have to toy with that one. That said, it'll definitely need me to buy a lot of flours (only keep almond and coconut o...

Re: What do you eat?
I'm about a hundred miles away from Houston :x I need to restock almond flour (...or maybe make my own, hm...) but I do have an idea for one (2c flour, 2 eggs, 1c hard cheese + seasonings) for the dough itself. Think I'll do that for the weekend since I need to do shopping when my fish runs out. Alt...
