Magic has bested physical attacks for a long period of the FF history (notably FFVI, effectively making Terra, Celes, and Relm the three strongest characters due to innate high Magic . .. and Gem Box didn't help things at all). Then again, Terra and Celes are already two of the best characters anywa...

Speaking of which, i think the high sugar drink mix is acting more of a placebo when you need the 'burst in energy'... They do provide energy in the form of fast-burning (in the sense of the energy provided) carbohydrates/sugars; they do not provide real nutritional value, however. They burn off qu...

Then increase the eggs (whites only) and get a better carb (i.e., wheat bread, oatmeal) instead. Or some other healthier form of protein if the idea of egg whites disturbs you immensely. The sausage is most likely empty calories; sure, yes, it provides some protein but it will most likely be higher ...

You mean from a male gamer perspective. From a female gamer perspective such an option would definitely add to the enjoyment of the game. Please don't assume that all gamers are male. Half of us are women. No, from your perspective it may (just like that quote is my perspective). I never assumed th...

Yes Scy, you are clearly in the non-neglected camp. Don't get me wrong, I get the problem (I do have a Sociology minor in Race and Gender) but ... from a gamer perspective, I just don't see any real addition in the option. More over, I really do see it overall weakening the story given it done slop...

It's more of an annoyance due to the fact of all the games so far (I-V, Tactics, and the VNs) are all a single timeline ... and then there's Tierkreis which throws everything Suikoden related out the window after all these years of waiting for the next Suikoden game. It's a solid game, yes, just mor...

Because DEF hits scaling faster and VIT has less of an impact on DEF than STR on ATK. Also, starting Weapon ATK vs starting Armor DEF (+15 ATK/+13 ATK [Dagger/Wand] and +7 DEF in EO2, for example). I will note they may have changed the ATK/DEF formula though (Farmer and Phalanx have the same equip y...
