Not really numbing, just we were planning on drinking and ended up not and I was sad.

I'd like to take the time to note that I spent a Thursday prime-time drinking/partying/clubbing/trying to get laid/failing to get laid and thus drinking more/etc. night dealing with a suicidal girl (that I may or may not have had a hand in on the situation). And, somehow, this doesn't feel like that...
