75%, 50%, and 25% changes the random-ness of his scripting. Not entirely sure if that's really an important detail since ANY randomness is kind of a hassle. And, yes, turn 40+ is when he enrages, essentially, and almost all his skills are changed to their ridiculous variants.

I actually do not. The closest I got to any of those was RO and I remember the game telling me I didn't know how to sit. I'm pretty sure I was drunk or otherwise out of my fucking mind and found the whole thing awfully meta.

Patterson's other books (i.e., the non-Alex Cross or Lindsay Boxer) are all fanciful and completely different from his by-the-numbers thrillers.
