Well ... a Persona is really only as good as the skillset. Most the basic ones come with garbage (until the mid-40s or so I guess. At least, P3 was like that!). That and it's not "that" hard to get at least some skills moved around (i.e., Resist Physical) ... just a hassle moving 3-4 skill...

Hrm ... finally got a chance to sit down and finish up the first real Dungeon.
Chie's Shadow was a joke and I covered that already I think. The Knight mini-boss is even easier really (woohoo, debuff ATK and then kill it in 3 turns! Took me two >>). Yukiko's Shadow though ... god. On Expert ...

To be fair, I never bothered buffing (barring whatever Aigis casted) in P3 for non-Hard mode. I never finished my Hard mode play but I doubt it would've been much different. A lot of fights can be cheesed with abuse of Weaknesses and most the fights can be done by merely bringing a Persona with the ...

In general, buffs / debuffs have always been pretty much the delegated job of the MC ... but since you can just control your party that isn't such a big deal. This also means I won't have to endure Mind Charge -> TENTARAFOO!!!! madness that bugged me in P3 (fuck you Mitsuru). I have a feeling playin...

We sacrificed a few goats and performed the necessary rituals. Incidentally, it was colder that day in CS than it was in Boston, New York, etc. areas. I laughed. A lot. I also froze as I do not OWN clothes for that kind of weather and was out in jeans, a white t-shirt, and sandals. Without a jacket....

Snowed here a few days ago (uhh ... last Wednesday!). I unfortunately have no good pictures of it. I mean, a few shots you can SEE snow in but nothing that shows just how much we had (we made snowmen! And then threw one out of the 4th floor of a building!).

Marathon'd a catch-up on Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka (up to Episode 10):
NICE BOAT END?! NICE BOAT END?! NICE BOAT END?! ... ... ... Probably not, unfortunately ... but, hey, he just (probably) hooked up with his sister! NICE BOAT END?! WINCEST?! OH MY!
And now to [s]play Persona 4[/...

On Trigourds...
Iceshot and Voltshot are both equally effective (150% Damage from Ice and Volt) whilst everything else is equally ineffective (0% Fire, Cut, Stab, Bash). Hexer's Revenge and War Magus' Cuts (i.e., Stuncut, Blindcut, etc.) are typeless and will do their intended damage as the...

You're supposed to "CLICK" with Miyako in the sense of this abandoned girl who sought comfort from someone ... and then lost it. She's unstable. Fragile. [s]Emo[/s]...tional. While it is BEYOND FUCKING CREEPY (I feel weird having multiple texts in a row from a person ...), it fits Miyako's...

Chihiro is easily the most touching, albeit a very 50 First Dates -esque feel to it. There's honestly something about the Miyako story that detracts from its ability to be totally saddening ... probably something to do with her appearing to be fucking insane[s]ly clingy[/s]. Incidentally, the game h...
