Re: Games you are playing

There's an entire perk for it, you can (and probably should, honestly) use Absorb Stamina Enchants, and Vegetable Soup lets you infinitely Shield Bash anyway.

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: gobble gobble gobble duck gobble gobb

It's not really the enclosed space itself (or, rather, the fear of it) that gets to you, really. It's the enclosed space and feeling of alone as you sit there. Perhaps if you're there with a phone or something to amuse yourself until help comes, sure, but if it's just you in a sealed box for nearly ...

Re: Games you are playing

Contemplating my next character to beeline straight to maxing out 100 Smithing, Enchanting, Sneak, Pickpocket, and Speech. And then proceed to never use those skills at all. Well, I'll use Speech since you kind of have to but you know what I mean. Anyway, goal is to start the game at a higher than n...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

I lied. Future Babble became the morning read while I waited at the airport and I'm engrossed in it for the time being. It has proven to be an interesting read on the fascinating subject of human psychology towards predictions; goes through many of the normal motions of explaining it thus far (serio...

Dan Don's D...actually, I'll just stop it there. Well, the five things I've picked up since are: Future Babble - Dan Gardner: Gardner, a columnist and senior writer for the Ottawa Citizen (The Science of Fear), examines the misguided trust people place in media forecasters and "legions of exper...

Re: Games you are playing

Re: Games you are playing

Hoods look awkward when the armor doesn't match it. Plus, it covers the hair entirely and that's meh. And ... is it really that big of a deal? The avoidance is cute but Ebony looks better so fuck it. The game is pretty easy if you go that ridiculous (even if you don't go that ridiculous) so who care...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

I'm familiar with Wendig, at least I assume that has to be who this is about, and uh ... yeah, you definitely read it. Edit: Which reminds me actually, I'm getting a Kindle out of the Black Friday shopping extravaganza. Suggestions? I have a huge glut of Golden Age Detective stuff I want to get thro...
