After watching the PV 3 times:
I think what I hate most about Japanese anime/games is that they often make the characters act (have the same reactions/mannerisms) as if they were from Japan. You know, despite not being Japanese.
Hopefully, they don't fall into this =/

Re: Shin SQ rage (and wild speculation) goes here
Well I realize that he's supposed to find her very early on in the game, but the area in which she is found resembles the 5th stratum. So much so that it would be easy to assume that's where it was.
But as I said, it is likely some kind of pod/suspended animation chamber he stumbled upon.

I felt the old guy was another Highlander, possibly a mentor/father figure to the protag.

Re: Shin SQ rage (and wild speculation) goes here
Cool, more confirmed stuff:
- Visil is still in the game
- animated cutscenes(?)
- 6th Stratum:
Also, how is this highlander in the 5th stratum (or near some kind of pod/suspended animation chamber) AT THE START OF THE GAME? lol

Re: Shin SQ rage (and wild speculation) goes here
As many (myself included) have stated in their posts, much of this is purely overly skeptical statements about what MAY or MAY NOT be in the game and that we'll have to wait and see what happens before any such fears can be dis/proven. After all, this is a thread for "RAGE AND WILD SPECULATION&...

^ I was talking about skill-rebalancing. As a Warrior, the regular attacks are both important and good. Sprinting jump-attacks and so on. Oh, remember that Monster Hunter-meme? Anybody else notice his incredibly appropriate choice of armor? (^_^)b Gotcha bitch! Wanna see the new Berserk movie SOO bad

Because EO doesn't have any fanservice. If he's playing EO for the fanservice, you'd have to try VERY hard to squeeze out what few drops you may find throughout the series (i.e. character portraits).

Re: Shin SQ rage (and wild speculation) goes here
Wizardry was extremely popular in Japan and inspired many JRPG defining titles like Dragon Quest (which later branched off from there and became it's own type of RPG genre), and even later got Japanese-created spinoffs created by different developers under the Wizardry name. Then I'm not sure what t...

Re: Shin SQ rage (and wild speculation) goes here
School is probably the most common setting for Japanese anime/games ever.
You know, since high school is likely the last time to do whatever before they enter the real world and work in a cubicle until they die =/

Re: The Oculus Rift and Virtual Reality
I'm interested in it. I just don't think it's viable at all for serious/competitive gameplay.
But it looks like it may be a large step in the direction of immersion.
