I was lazy and fell behind on a few chapters, evidently.

It has that pseudo Spice & Wolf vibe for it. A nice change of pace. It really does. All that talk of war boosting population growth and commerce, etc. really was interesting considering that without the war between demons/humans, both sides would suffer more casualties from famine/disease/inter...

Either version is fine. The plot is pretty much the same =D

Is that so? Wikipedia lists him as composer. I selected the PC88 FM BGM version anyway. As for Ys being all about Adol, yes, that's why I wrote "as expected". I'd still like to see a more gender-balanced world though (as Trails In The Sky has), and an option to play as someone other than ...

I'm not late game, but it's pretty powerful early on.

Even at level ~10, my Rune Master was doing 110-135 while my swordmans and fortress were dealing 50-70 damage per hit, and the Rune Master's magic hits a whole line.



Though magic is probably still going to be gimped late game, as per usual.
