I've been meaning to get a screen protector. I was really rough on it during Trauma Center, but with other games I've been really gentle and kind. Mine's used so it has some screen scratches that I didn't do... fortunately none are so bad that a soft cloth won't take care of. I'm really paranoid abo...

My left big toe is seriously infected. A hangnail got caught on a thread and torn off, leading to massive swelling overnight. Epsom salts, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, neosporin, gauze, and bandages are all my friends right now. But oh lord, does it ever hurt. Ouch! I skidded a good 4 or 5 f...

My BF uses IE despite my repeated assurances that Firefox is way better. I have noScript installed and its fabulous. It cuts down on load times since no java or Flash scripts can run without my expressed permission >D

Hercules makes my brain bleed it was so terrible. 1) Hera was not the mother of Herakles. That's why they named him Herakles; to try and keep her from not being so pissed off. Hercules is the Roman spelling. 2) Hera was the one who tried to kill him, not Hades. The name thing didn't work, she was st...

No... it's only digitally animated. Although some productions companies are experimenting with completely-computer animation (like Advent children) most movies and shows are still done with traditional cels. At least, this has been my understanding of it. There has been a push in recent years especi...

I'm so, so sad that traditional 2d animation is going to be rare, like black and white movies, before much longer. I adore being able to see the pen stroke and brush, like the old Disney Robin Hood and Aristocats showcase the sort of style I find particularly appealing. I'm really hoping Japan stick...

Well, the whole "Freedom fry" thing happened back when we first went into Iraq. I haven't heard it in years, but there's still a strong anti-French attitude around in the red (republican, conservative) states. I was just using that as a mild example of the sort of riduculous anti-French no...

Yeah, "like-new" which in other areas usually means it's an out-of-date model that they can't put on the shelves anymore, but is still servicable and works like yours would. But for Nintendo, I'm unsure. I don't think I'll be going down this route, though. Not for a while. I don't have $8...

^_^ Hooray, I remembered correctly! I'm a history major, emphasis in European, and it's my passion. I'm sure most Americans would assume that we completely beat the Germans without any assistance from the rest of the Allies. We~ell... The French have a spotty place in America right now. We got reall...
