Re: Funny conversations thread!

"What if I invented time travel, but the only thing I did with it was go back in time to September 10th and put a whole bunch of hangliders with swastikas on them on top of the world trade center?"

"That is both awful and hilarious."

Re: DISCUSSION THREAD: gobble gobble gobble duck gobble gobb

my mom got rickrolled for the first time last year and she was like "Wh...what happened? Where's where's the cat video ;~;" so cute! my favorite rickroll ever was the time I spliced the chorus of Never Gonna Give You Up in place of the chorus to a different song, one that I knew my friend...

Re: Why Are You Happy Today?

I read very fast. I've always been this way. Generally I read between 60-80 pages an hour. I was reading The Last Unicorn, which has fairly large print and generous margins between the lines, so I was able to get the whole book read in around three hours. I am also very comfortable sitting down and ...

negzee, we seem to be in absolute agreement! My only deviation from your bullet-points would be docking him for the colorful descriptions; I might not have always found them hilarious, but I never found them tiring. I found some of the description sluggish and dull, especially whenever he's not in N...

Re: November 30th: The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle

So! It is midnight, and therefore officially the 30th. Did everyone enjoy the book? I remembered liking it quite a bit when I first read the book, many years ago, but on this re-read I realized just exactly how much I love this book! The writing, the imagery, its all very dreamlike I feel. It's got ...

Re: Webcomics

We have an A&W in my hometown, actually, in Oklahoma. Weird. Are they a predominantly Canadian chain? I will have to try one when I go home for Christmas. Also the Teen Mom Burger, as I heard that was quite good. Oh, hey, CS,B updated like AS I WAS READING IT today. That was cool. HEY GUYS WHAT ...

Re: Book Selections and Meeting Dates

Coming at midnight, The Last Unicorn discussion! The last few weeks have been utterly insane. I must admit I put off my re-read of the book far too long. Fortunately it only took me a little under three hours tonight to read it. And now, as I promised myself I'd wait, I'm going to read the graphic n...
