Re: Gender discussion

@Doktor_Q I will murder you and rip out your spine to use as a coat rack. No, my sincere apologies -- you did hit a nerve. I've been spending too much time at reddit and it's made me bitter and hateful. I think it's actually worse than 4chan, because at least 4chan acknowledges that its the asshole ...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

@Song of Ice and Fire Yes, third person, but each chapter uses a different viewpoint character, and those chapters are third person limited. Each book uses different view-point characters, and some appear in more than one book, or, for a handful of major characters, all the books. It's a very "...

Re: Favorite Books and Current Reads

I did the manga so I can keep track of what all I've read and what I own, more so than any type of "book" specific snobbery. My co-worker feels similarly that manga doesn't "count" but my response to that is "count for what?" I don't want to have a separate manga-specif...

Re: Height thread

Rain didn't put her actual height, so far as I can see, but there are no votes below 5'5"...

So I'm gonna declare me, Yuna, and Rain as the shortest people on the forum.

Re: Funny conversations thread!

I never got the beavis and butthead appeal.

Love the shit out of King of the Hill (so accurate it makes me homesick) and Mike Judge's movies, though. Idiocracy was amazing.

Re: Random video/youtube thread!!

fffffffffffffffff earthbound

The ending is so amazing. I like to put in my full name whenever Tony prompts you, so its all the more epic. That game really immerses you in the characters and the ending.

Re: What are you watching? (TV/Movies)

Topher Brink! That was his name. Yeah, I'm all over that adorable nonsense. @Kimiko They're a bunch of actors and one director/producer (Joss Whedon) who tend to work together and make sci-fi TV shows and a few movies. Nathan Fillion is your typical strong-chin "hunky" guy and Felicia Day ...

Re: Gender discussion

I'd rather gave grammatically incorrect than backwards, disrespectful thinking like "and on the internet, on 90% of the sites you will visit, "he" will be accurate" despite the fact that there are females on the internet and it is precisely that type of thinking which promotes se...
