eeeerm... Gliscor's always been super viable.. and bisharp is let down by its speed and typing... though i imagine a pairing of them works wonders
bisharp loves swords dance/sucker punch
gliscore loves poison heal+toxic orb stall
ive never used them personally though soo..

Don't think I'll ever become competitive anyway. I play games to relax. Trying to fight or work with others means I need to meet a standard that I don't want to put in the time to reach.

I've never once played competitively. Even if I did, I'd just super train my favorite pokemon (probably sub-par to actual competitive tier stuff, but eh).
Have to say though, Gyarados... He whipped my ass both times I had to fight him to beat the game. So I went and EV trained a Magikarp

. Now I just need to see if Gyarados gets Earthquake on his own or if I have to find a TM of it... looks like Route 22 has my name and my Dowsing Machine written all over it.

My sister just managed to beat the E4. When the ending (and the lovely lyrics to the unfortunately unsung song) happened, she asked me to read it for her (because she's not a fast reader). When it was done, I told her that ending made me cry, and she said "Yeah I almost cried too".
Seven years old, and I'm so proud of her. Sometimes the biggest pain in the ass I could think of, but sometimes she's just awesome.

Man, for a hastily trained Pokemon, my Lapras cleaned house.
Anyway, much as I want to see what my last safari Pokemon is, my internet is probably still screwy.
And need to set up my end game teams.
...Lostman has Dragon for his Safari. And he has Gabite and Shelgon so far.

Alright, so I'm using a basic guide to team building (since I'm just going through the Battle Maison for now, maybe casual battling with some of you or friends for their own purposes), which is just 4 sweepers (2 of each type), and 2 tanks (1 of each type). I'm looking at having for now 2 full teams, totaling: 4 special sweepers; 4 physical sweepers; 2 physical tanks; and 2 special tanks. The list, some already established, others added to find something, are:
EDIT: Actually, for now, I'll probably just find a lead and figure out two others to support it. Going Mega Mawile, and a suggestion was gooey Goodra and Delphox.
HEY REMEMBER WHEN I SAID LOST'S SAFARI WAS DRAGON?
EDIT: Actually, nevermind. First thing I need to do is set up 3 man teams for the Maison. This probably involves finding a single Mon to build around. And something about getting countered every 10 levels, so you need multiple teams.
So, my first team building exercise is finding a group of mons to serve as the centers for groups of threes, then go from there. Probably pick a mega or sweeper then build around them.
Think Mega Mawile will be first, with Noivern and Lapras around her.

I've had a Mawile since Glittering Cave. It did pretty well until the Elite 4.
