I got a shiny hawlucha for my hawlucha tag team

her name is LA MÁSCARA

That name

I managed to achieve a decent chain fishing and caught myself a Quirky shiny Poliwhirl! So now I have managed to get myself four shinies, with three of them in X! Now if only I could get myself a decent shiny Zubat, I'd be so stoked!

I have never had a shiny. I mean, other than red Gyarados.

Each with their own little story:
Krabby was first, I was EV training on them way back training my EV, I wasn't even paying attention until it was too late, I noticed it was shiny right as it fainted. I cried pretty hard.

The Two Carvanhas were a result from feebas hunting, after failing to get the first I never thought I'd see another one in the same session. I chucked balls until capture, as I had no way to weaken. Saved at least 5 times.

Whismur was a total fluke while passing through Vurdenturf Cave or whatever its called. Easily captured. Saved at least 5 times.

Gastly was a result from Special Attack EV training by killing his friends, relatives, superiors, etc. Easily captured. Saved at least 5 times.

Nincada & Tirtouga was hatched during IV breeding... Surprise! (Back then IV breeding good pokemon took waaaaay longer than it does now.)

Sandile was found while looking for wild sandslash.

Graveler, much like krabby, was accidentally murdered before I realized what it was.

I caught a shiny Rufflet in White. That and a shiny Dragalge I got in a trade are the only ones I've ever gotten.

I once fled from a shiny Onix. Went into that one cave in Platinum, but saved before I entered it. Found shiny Onix, weakened it, tried to catch it. Accidentally hit the RUN button instead of the bag. Was sad, turned it off and on again, trying precisely to do take every little step as I did last time. Same spot, wild encounter, Onix - but not a shiny. RAAAAGE.

I didn't know you could run from shiny pokemon, you couldn't in gold and silver.

It applied to all shinies, though, not just red gyarados. You're probably right about the reason, but they should have kept it.
