I've started re-playing Heart Gold, it's reminding me how wonderful it was having your pokemon follow you around was, I really hope they bring that back, having that together with pokemon-amie would be great.

Train a failing female Nidoran into a monster Nidorina. Still fails against Miltank.

She was perfect! Rivalry and Brick Break made every 'mon in that gym a roadbump, and the Clefairy was done in two turns when it metronomed Solar Beam. Miltank just stomps both her and my Zubat into oblivion, then attracted my Geodude. Took Quilava spamming Flame Wheel to kill it.

You don't have to tell me, I played my original Gold Version at least twice a year up until HG/SS came out...then it just went to once a year, until the battery ran out.
