I've decided to stop playing Pokemon X until Pokemon Bank comes out. I want mah Celebi/Gallade/All my other loved Pokemon right nooooooow!
Unless of course it doesn't come out for, like, a month. Then I MIGHT play again. Maybe.

So I've got nearly my entire team together at this point. I just need to figure out a 6th. I've had ideas, but the problem I run into is that I want this to be compatible with both VGC rules and Smogon rules. (I'm sticking to OU...I think. ._.) It shouldn't be tough, but with the bit in the VGC rules (this year, anyway) about pokemon needing to be native to Kalos, I'm kinda stuck. ._.
Currently planning -
I wouldn't mind trying a mega evolution as my 6th, though I'm still looking through my options. I may just take a break and play something else or do some other stuff in-game like finish the regional dex/chip away at the national with what I've got.

the thing with magic bounce it that it gives immunity to ALOT of shenanigans competitively
one of the most defining factors of competitive battling are entry hazards (such as sticky web, stealth rock, etc.) and stopping those hazard from affecting you while simultaneously setting them up on your opponent makes it powerful.
as for good megas for VGC (and smogon viable).... i'd actually suggest Gardvevior for its hidden ability Telepathy
i also suggest a more widespread batch of protects on your team and Dragon Dance on Dnite
since VGC are doubles... though i dont play doubles at all, so completely lost on that one... but surf/EQ/etc. + protect i still a solid strat/scouting option

Hrm...There are so many options. @_@ I've taken a small break for now to play some other stuff, but I'll keep looking into my options.
I did some thinking, and I think I'll probably keep the team I've got going for singles, and make a separate for doubles. Kinda forgot that VGC was doubles. ._.
Thanks for the input!

I wanted to test the PokéRadar again to find a shiny, but I forgot the Super Repel, but I found a shiny anyway, heh.

Beat Pokemon X, therefore breaking my previous promise! Yay!

ALSO, I got a rather terrible nature for Mewtwo, Jolly, and wanted to know if I could release/trade it away, then beat the Elite Four and try and get a new one? Jolly's fine for Mega Mewtwo X, I gueeeesssssss, but still, I don't wanna be terrible at SP attacking on a Pokemon that's supposed to normally, well, SP attack.

You could always run it mega, Mega Mewtwo X is a physical attacker primarily.

Petting my Gyarados and seeing him delighted is priceless, thanks to the PokémonAmie. I had to say it :3

I like how playing with Misdreavus in Pokemon-amie is essentially you waving your hand through it rather than petting it. I love how it snickers too, it's like it's thinking "look at this stupid human trying to touch me".

I'm really really close to beating Pokemon Platinum now. I got really stuck at the final Cyrus battle (Dangit that Gyarados), but out of some matter of extreme luck I got through it, though I lost all my potions doing so. And when I thought THAT was hard, Giratina took freakin' HOURS to catch, cause my party was by no means a party for catching legendary Pokemon. Eventually, though, I caught him and had a insane laugh attack. I did get rather scared that I had lost the Griseous Orb forever, because my friend told me you're supposed to get it right after you catch Giratina, but apparently its not until after the Elite Four.
