mega pinsir is viable. its main attack is actually quick attack. and if you dont want to use swords dance, i dunno what to tell ya.
ive never ran a pinsir, so id say for a non swords dancer..
x-scissor and quick attack for your STAB
EQ and Stone Miss(stone edge) for coverage

yeah. mega pinsir's boosted STAB quick attack is one of, if not the most powerful quick attack.
sword attack usually isnt too bad to use, even on squisher mons... but the squisher they are, the more planning you need... mega pinsir should be just tanky enough to manage though...i think..

i have a hard time justifying smack down. its utility is limited, and whenever it would be useful (flying types), itd be infinitly better just to OHKO it instead.

though i agree with you for the most part. hence why i call it Stone Miss.
id take Close Combat if pinsir can learn that over Smack Down, personally. heck, even Return. Return will HURT

If i had knowledge of the typical Sets/spreads id be able to help more, sorry..

the only things i tend to see are swords dance, quick attack, and stone miss... i dunno about the EV spreads or other stuff

MEGA GALLADE
THAT IS ALL I MUST SAY

Primal Kyogre's new move is called Origin Wave. Rayquaza is holding a secret to Mega Evolution and Mega Gallade's new ability is...! Inner Focus. Feels very underwhelming to me. I guess it could have its uses, but eh.

mega gallade and mega sharpedo's bilities are somehow worse than their regular abilities... :/

Strong jaw isnt BAD, no. i would just argue Speed Boost is better. Sharpedo gets STAB boosted crunch, yes, but thats the only STAB move it gets to benefit (no aqua fang? :c). i would hope they do the same thing they did to heracross and actually GIVE it the fang moves now.

Inner focus... i dunno... Flinching isnt really all that common, and i'd rather have Justified... heck, even Steadfast is arguably better (speed boost vs. prevention?).



Edit: Actually, just looked up sharpedo. it can only learn ice fang, bite, and crunch right now... so it doesnt even have the moves to capitalize on it. only 3 attacks (one of which is an upgraded version) getting the benefit of an ability isnt great..
I really hope it gets the other Fang moves...especially Poison Fang for fairies

Edit Edit: Sharpedo get super fang too, but i dont think that counts because set damage

More anime related, but it could possibly also contain hints on stuff to expect in ORAS.

I actually kind of really like this design. I especially love what they did with the yellow markings flying.

I wanna see what it looks like when it's shiny. :O
