After a week long struggle to avoid any struggle I finally have Alpha Sapphire in my hands. Time to relive my Pokémon origins.

i've only gotten my own copy of alpha sapphire recently, within the last week. i've only just reached fallarbor with a team of grovyle, mightyena, plusle, and gallade, all ~lvl. 28.

the very odd thing is, my little plusle is literally carrying the team so far.

....and i somehow managed to get a skarmory... and make it an HM slave...

Skarmory is only useful when battling other players anyway =/

well i had little interest it in using it on my main team regardless. i only caught it because it was one of those "boss" 'mons that you occasionally see with the dexNav (the ones at extremely higher lvl) and it happened to have drill peck, so i just thought "why not at least catch one?"

...it just so happened to replace my zigzagoon for now... at least until cut and rock smash are phased out

I'm currently preparing a Sableye for the rest of my team before I take on the Elite Four. I could easily say this is my favorite Pokemon game without claiming it might be due to nostalgia goggles.
Though I must confess, I never thought a Normalise Delcatty could be such a beast in main game. Mine have wrecked many shits.

Beat the Elite Four and Champion with a team of Swampert, Breloom, Swellow, Delcatty, Sableye and Mega Latias. Glacia was a pain, knocked four of them out, Drake knocked one out. The rest was dealed without much problem. Have yet to start touching post game.

havent been advancing too much now, since i just got 2 more team members. and its a chore to play catch-up.

that said, i found a feebas with my first fish on route 119... so yeah.... instant team member right there... even got a sweeper nature... doubt ill carry it over to a competitive team with said nature but still... main game Milotic!

Feebas is actually a guaranteed catch if you fish under the bridge. Game Freak must've learned their lesson on how awful it was to catch it in Gen III and IV.

Haha, alright. Read some reviews, I'll keep the remakes in mind when I finally finish Black then White 2.

I laughed way too much at the 'Hoenn: too much water", in IGN's review.

And I miss petting my tiny Taillow, now that he has evolved, although I love Swellow.

Why do I need a team for the Elite 4? I have Excadrill. What CAN'T that thing learn?

Well, as usual, Elite 4, Black version. Seeing if I got all this right.

Well, since the new ones seem like they have a lot more stuff, and have stuff from both versions, going to start my file in Y over and see what happens when I wonder trade 6 pokemon and go all the way with them.
Not a Nuzlocke, no. Maybe some other time I'll get serious, if I feel like it. Just grabbing 6 random Pokemon and running with them. Probably with a couple rules, like:
-Need a few that can use the needed HMs like Surf, and definitely one with Fly.
-Maybe 1 from each generation, to prevent too much overlap. So if someone tosses me a Torchic, and then I get a Mudkip, retrade the Mudkip.
-Probably limit the level of what I get to only below 10 or something.
