I feel sad that Snivy is already so loaded down with memes, it sort of ruins him for me, but Tepig (while cute) just doesn't do it for me (plus, I never pick the fire starter as a rule of thumb), and Oshawott was earmarked by the husband months ago.

I am very much looking forward to the social avenue of the game, though. DPPt was a big deal for me, had a lot of people IRL to play with and a ton of old friends from around the world I could play with again via wifi, plus friends from internet communities and such. I am really looking forward to starting up a diverse playgroup both IRL and online again for this one, it's pretty exciting.

I never pick the fire starter either, but my husband loves pigs (he exclaims over piglets the way I do over kittens, it's so cute) and, thus, I shall have me a FIREPIG.

also I want his chief attack to be bacon
