@Spiral Warrior: Glad I am not the only one who names Pokemon after mythological figures. I ended up naming Tepig Kamapua after the Polynesian boar god.

I ended up being bad and going out and buying a copy of Black anyway, even though my birthday copies of Black and White are coming tomorrow. I'm going to give the extra Black to my younger brother as a gift. Meanwhile, my husband got impatient, too, and now is running out to buy a copy of White, which he will then trade with me for my Black, and tomorrow when his black comes, he'll give it to me as my secondary copy, and ... God, I think I confused myself. At any rate, we had planned on me getting a copy of Black and White, and him getting a copy of Black. Now we both are going to end up with a copy of each, plus a bonus Black which will be given to my brother.

I feel spoiled. But you know what, dammit, this is what being a DINK is supposed to be about.

Meanwhile, while I was at the store, I saw the most adorable little toe-headed boy, about 6, having a total joygasm over the big Pokemon display. He was all "DAD DAD DAD OH MY GOD, DAD DAD DAD, CAN I GET ONE? OH MY GOD, DAD!" and then once he got the yes he wanted, he went berserk and was like "I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW OH MY GOD, LOOK AT ALL THESE POKEMON! OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!" It was freaking adorable.

I usually give mine goofy names, usually bad jokes or references. Though I do remember naming a Torterra Yggdrasil.

Concerning pokemon black when a pokemon tries to learn a fifth move did it always say tada? I always remembered it as poof.
