It is, and it's just weird enough to catch my interest, but it will never see much use at all with it's completely oddball stats. It doesn't have the bulk to shrug off Flamethrower, Fire Blast, or Focus Blast even with its huge Sp. Def, it crumples to anything that can hit it physically, and it has such a narrow movepool that its speed and special attack are wasted.
It can sort of play around as a wall with Acid Armor and Toxic, but only in a very specific environment, because it just cannot take hits well enough to survive the set up needed to get a good stall going.
It's a shame, too; it learns Rapid Spin.
Picking up my copy of Black and playing through it as a girl. Just beat Burgh, and will focus on that for a bit, since I was getting bored just raising and breeding things in White and the League thing is slow to start right now.
Plus, I feel cheated by White Forest. Oh who cares, freaking Wurmple and Happiny, I need money and evo stones, dammit.

When I got to White Forest there was only Raltz left, I was upset.

I had my full 10 people after a single trip to my husband's Black City, but all I have is Ralts (I already have my competitive Gallade ported over, if I need a Ralts, I'll just breed him and his 31 Speed IV), Surskit (who cares), Wurmple (again, who cares), Happiny (same as Gallade, I already have my awesome Blissey), Aron (eh, okay), Porygon (which is cool- I said from the beginning that Wild Porygons were the only allure to white forest, if only for the novelty of it), Nidoran male and female, and two other mildly disinteresting babies I can't recall at the moment. such a letdown.

Nothing compares to catching a Pokemon. It's taming a wild beast and making friends with it. Breeding one is like....it's born already your friend. Boring. The only cool thing about it is having a Sneasel born with Ice Punch or something crazy like that. My Togepi in HeartGold hatched with Extrasensory. Does that usually happen? So much ass was kicked.
not gonna talk about my hatched Gardevoir though that's different
that's different
but she's gone forever ;-; my first level 100
she was never even in my PC box. Not for one moment from the time she hatched.

So, I decided to have a playthough of Pokemon starting from Kanto and going from there to Johto to Sinnoh and then to Unova (placing my bets on a R/S/E remake coming out eventually).
So, here's my trainer and the Pokemon joining him on this journey, which will prove frustrating, when they don't all obey me at first, when they come in. XD I also have a story behind this trainer to keep me entertained and make some stipulations for his team.
Trainer: Evo
Backstory(For Fire Red): Five years before becoming a trainer, Evo was poisoned by a Nidoran and fell so ill he nearly died. That experience gave him a fear of Pokémon that his mother forced him to overcome by sending him to Professor Oak, who gave him a Charmander(Charmy) that had a fear of humans. Oak's predictions came true as Charmy and Evo became quick friends. Evo's fear began its descent, when not only Charmy protected him from Pokemon in Viridian Forest, but when a wild Pikachu(Hero), who joined him, saved him when Charmy could no longer fight after a Weedle poisoned her.
After arriving in Pewter City, Evo felt a lot more confident in himself and thought he could take on the Pokémon gym. Although Brock's Geodude and Onyx nearly got the best of him, in the middle of the battle, Charmy evolved. After defeating Brock's Onyx and winning the badge for Evo, she found herself somewhat shunned. By her shape and personality changing, Evo found himself frightened by this. Charmy no longer obeyed him(not true in the game, but...) and holds this as a grudge against him.
Preferences: Evo's fear of Pokémon has made him find himself with smaller Pokemon. With the exception of Charmy, Evo has trouble with scary looking Pokemon (which is why Kabutops is out after HG). When it comes to Hero and his Clefairy/Jigglypuff, he prefers to not evolve them. He likes them as they are--especially because they walk with him outside of their balls.
Evo just has one type of Pokémon he will avoid at all costs: Poison. Although Oddish and Gloom are grass AND poison types, Evo neve really looks at his Pokédex enough. So, he never actually found out about that.
The planned teams--
Final FR Team:
Charizard
Pikachu
Clefairy/Jigglypuff (can't decide--suggestions?)
Eevee
Kabutops
Gloom
Final HG Team:
Charizard
Pikachu
Clefairy/Jigglypuff
Espeon
Kabutops
Belossom
Canon Hoenn Team:
Charizard
Pikachu
Clefairy/Jigglypuff
Espeon
Walrein
Aggron
Final Platinum Team:
Charizard
Pikachu
Clefairy/Jigglypuff
Espeon
Mantine
Roserade
Final "Gray" Team:
Charizard
Pikachu
Clefairy/Jigglypuff
Espeon
Seismitoad
Sawsbuck
--Whatever legendary he has to capture to fight N, at the end.

Evo's sort of like Ash, in the sense he doesn't always have the strongest Pokémon and his story with Charmy may be a lot like Ash's with Charizard. I'm working on a fanfiction and actually playing through things gives me ideas. XD Plus, it makes for a good challenge.
And it's quite obvious what's going on with Evo as he goes through each region. He does grow up (3 years between Kanto and Johto, a year in Hoenn, a year in Sinnoh, and seven more years between Sinnoh and Unova). By the end of this whole thing, Evo will be 23 years old. XD Seeing him grow up as a character in my head and his Pokemon in the game will definately give a sense of accomplishment.

Did anyone in here raise the Beldum you get at the end of R/S/E?
