After much legal controversy and nerd bloodshed, SSBM is currently on air at EVO:

I'm not sure if I like characters being posted without any info besides a few screenshots. Sakurai said it was so the game doesn't already feel "played" when you get it, but I still feel as if a small blurb would be helpful.

Watching the Melee EVO matches. I have a strong dislike for all the Fox wins, so Wobbles' Ice Climbers victory over another Fox made me giggle like a manly man.
Edit: Oh god, Armada's Peach :3
I wish I could watch the whole thing, but I have stuff to do today.

O.O A lot of people watching Melee.
26k on Twitch, 105k on Niconico. Surprising, considering it is just about 6 AM over in Japan.

Sorry I am late! Just got back from a meeting.
It should have started 40 minutes ago, with the semis starting in an hour and 20 minutes.

I remember when I first fought a good Peach and I had never played against the character before. Turnips coming out so fast and she was slapping aside my missiles. Couldn't lock her down in the air, couldn't take her on in the skies... it was really tough. Thank goodness it is easy to camp her with Samus when she was offstage.

Whenever a knee connects, I can feel the hype of a hundred thousand nerds electrifying the air.
Also, they are not at all following the schedule I was given and we have no way of effectively communicating with the English stream. I believe, after these matches, the rest will conclude 8 AM PST.
Edit - Armada went out 0-2. He's in losers.
