For serious play, I set the items to very high and only allow explosive items on. Let the test of skill begin.

For the most part, it is no items for one on one, and for free for alls I have just about every item on but on a very low frequency. I find the items are more meaningful if they appear less frequently, and create more desperation to attain. You still get several items a minute.

^ Yeah, more items even out more. Because everybody has them at the same time, then.

When I would play with my brother we would usually put them on the highest drop rate and turn off all the recovery items and stars.

I just want to have the freedom to do that and not have a smash ball appearing on-screen every minute. Just because we want to throw stuff at each other doesn't mean we want to chase the smash ball around the entire time, nor does it mean we want it turned off entirely.

I don't really understand the logic of not having videos in the game because people will find it on the Internet. People can choose whether or not to look up the videos and spoil it for themselves. Personally I unlocked all of them myself.

Sounds like an excuse for not wanting to work on a story.

o.o This is what was originally stated, that they were hoping to push out promotional videos for new characters.

Only thing different now is that it is no longer a hope but a plan instead.

According to Miiverse, players blasting off now have a colour trail to highlight who will get the KO. In this case, player 1 (red) would get credit for Samus, while player 4 (green) would get credit for Link.
